BYS Pretty Pastel Peppermint Swatch

Hola! True to my word yesterday, I'm going to show you BYS Pretty Pastel Peppermint. I've yet to wear Voodoo Violet so that post will probably be up sometime tomorrow.

I do like this polish, however it's colour seems to change depending on the lighting. In store it was a very minty looking green, then I got it home it turned out to be much more saturated. Most of the time it looks like a blue toned dusty green, but I have seen it look yellow toned at times too. I wish it was more of a pastel mint though as the name suggests.

Formula wise Pastel Peppermint was thin and not incredibly opaque. I did flood my cuticles a few times when I got too much polish on and I needed three coats for opacity. There is still some light discolouration where my free edge is. It dries to a nice shine though, as evidenced by the non top coat photos, and is a nice colour.

Thanks for reading imaginary followers!

Smoky Gradient with Rubi Nail Enamel - When Doves Cry and Models Prefer - Vixen

Hello :)

It feel a little silly talking to no one right now. But I suppose I can treat this like a nail diary until at least one person follows me :p

So...
Dear Diary,

Today I have a smoky gradient using Rubi Nail Enamel - When Doves Cry and Models Prefer - Vixen. Seeing as this is my first ever gradient I'm really pleased with the results. Although clean up was a bitch, my cuticles are still grey in some spots. Pictures after the cut!
